I've been in a wheelchair since July due to an auto accident leaving me with non-weightbearing ankle injury and unable to drive. I've had the opportunity to ride with many of our city's Cabulance companies. In my opinion, Cabulance is by far the best. They are a smaller company, and have excellent customer service. They are on time, and treat customers with care & respect. Tek coordinates and dispatches rides-- he's friendly, well-organized, and helpful. He'll track your reservations, and send you email confirmations. My driver was Solomon-- a professional, experienced, and respectful driver. I immediately felt comfortable with him, and confident in his ability to navigate my wheelchair safely. This is what a Cabulance experience should be like. I began requesting Solomon and benefitted from the continuity of having the same competent, trustworthy driver. (He's also an interesting guy; I enjoyed our conversations in transit.) I had almost had almost given up the search for accessible transportation that didn't make me feel like "cargo". (Northwest Transportation was the worst, but that's another review.) I'm glad I didn't. What a difference in comfort level. Tip Solomon well; he deserves it. PS. I've now "graduated" to a knee scooter from the wheelchair. I no longer need the level of service (wheelchair) Cabulance provides. If anyone has ideas about an affordable reliable ride service that will pick up a knee scooter, please let me know~
